This proposal seeks to address the key objectives of the EU-China Research and Innovation Partnership in the area of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable energy solutions for cities by:
assisting in the rebalancing of EU-China Trade by providing opportunities for academics and businesses from across the EU partner countries (UK, Croatia, Italy and Norway) to gain from the R&I management lessons learned through networking meetings or conferences in each of the states involved in the action. All of the EU partners have strong collaborations with industrial partners who will directly benefit from the action.
tackling global challenges by combining the local and international knowledge of four leading EU research universities with three leading universities and a research institution in China. The emphasis of the partnership is research and translation of outcomes to implementable solutions in the energy sector.
training future energy research leaders by providing 36 individual researchers with 213 months of mobility to the Chinese partner organisation. This will help them develop their personal networks and gain an understanding of Chinese culture.
