Short description of project
Projekt istražuje uzroke i posljedice masovnog izumiranja, koje se dogodilo prije 250 milijuna godina, na kraju paleozojske ere. Stijene ove starosti u Hrvatskoj su najbolje razvijene na području Velebita. Istraživanja obuhvaćaju paleontološke, sedimentološke, geokemijske i izotopne analize, te omogućuju precizno utvrđivanje granice perma i trijasa, te mogućih uzroka masovnog izumiranja.
