Short description of project |
In this project we plan to develop a low-power body area network (BAN) consisting of sensor nodes for physiological signals monitoring and analysis. Instead of using standard wireless communication protocol, sensor nodes will build a network using intrabody communication (IBC) technique. Croatian and Chinese partners plan to compare and extend their previous knowledge in galvanic and capacitive IBC system modelling, IBC channel measurements, and hardware design. These findings will be applied in the design of IBC transceivers with built-in physiological signals (EMG, ECG, EEG) sensors, as a part of a reliable and safe body area network for health applications.
