Short description of project |
In order to increase the competence of the Croatian HEIs and industry in the area of structural monitoring in engineering structures the overall objective of the action is to establish a virtual Centre of Excellence for Structural Health Analysis (CEEStructHealth) and to establish cooperation between the involved HEIs and industry for mutual benefit, with significant students’ involvement. Three specific objectives that will together achieve the overall objective: (i) to build up the Centre’s capacities for fatigue analysis, dynamic load control, control systems and online measurement, achieved by developing the structural health monitoring system (SHMS) for wind turbines in a direct cooperation with KEEI as an associate from business; (ii) to increase the experience of the students during their education, which will be accomplished by increasing the mobility of the students from HEIs to industry and by further improvements of the competitions of the professionals from the industry; (iii) to increase the recognisability of the Centre as well as its potential for further cooperation in R+D in the collaboration with industry and in scientific research.
